Chhobighar Film Society: $7,500

To promote Bengali cinema as a medium of education and art, emphasize cultural integration through films, and ensure the next generation has access to the riches of global cinema.
Downers Grove Choral Society: $3,500
Funded by Donor-Advised Fund for Needy Children
To support the launch of a new Chamber Choir ensemble to perform outreach events at venues such as senior centers, retirement communities, and assisted living facilities.
DuPage County Historical Museum Foundation: $4,000
Funded by History DuPage Fund
To support exhibits that explore how DuPage residents express and identify themselves with military service, clothing, Muslim American culture, Black American heritage, and broader cultural imagery.
To support artist residencies by bringing world-class musicians into DuPage County schools to inspire students to create a lasting connection to the arts.
To support the “On Wonder, Mind, and Magi” interactive sensory illusion and art featuring native DuPage artist Jeanette Andrews.

Opera for the Young: $5,000
To support Opera for the Young’s adaptation of Donizetti’s “The Elixir of Love” in eight DuPage County elementary schools, featuring a student chorus prepared by host music teachers.

To support accessibility to the arts by providing free and low-cost tickets and adaptive programming for people with disabilities, serving over 20,000 individuals in the western suburbs of Chicago annually.
Senior Suburban Orchestra: $2,500
To bring live orchestral music to groups that cannot attend traditional concerts due to financial and physical restraints.

To support free, live music performances for patients at two DuPage hospitals to improve their well-being through the healing power of live music.
To support orchestral and operatic productions that foster the development of amateur musicians (including senior citizens) and contribute to the appreciation of music by people of all ages.
