We are pleased to announce the appointment of six new committee members. Susannah Ball has joined the Grant Committee, Jennifer Blum the Grant Committee, Jonathan Kruger the Professional Advisor Committee, Mary Beth McLean the Investment Committee, Victoria Morrissey the Marketing Committee, and Tom Schnell the Investment Committee.
“Each of our new Committee members brings valuable experience, diverse perspectives, and specialized skills that will help expand our impact,” said Mike Sitrick, DuPage Foundation president & CEO. “The strength of our organization is built on the dedication and expertise of volunteers who are generously willing to share their time, knowledge, and leadership to bettering our shared community.”

- Susannah Ball, Grant Committee (Glen Ellyn) In 2017, after working for nine years on a livestock farm in upstate New York, Susannah returned to DuPage County to join the family business, Ball Horticultural Company, in West Chicago. She has served on the Board of the BR Ryall YMCA since 2020, including a stint as Board President from 2024-2025, and also volunteers her time with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, working on a restoration crew at Churchill Woods.
- Jennifer Blum, Grant Committee (Naperville) has been an executive & personal assistant for 13 years. Previously she worked for Armada, a supply chain solutions company as director of corporate responsibility. She oversaw community relations, corporate engagement, and all green initiatives for the company. Jen has lived in Naperville for 25 years with her husband Bill and three daughters.
- Jonathan Kruger, Professional Advisor Committee (Wheaton) has more than 35 years of experience helping business owners and executives implement dynamic tax planning strategies to help them achieve their long-term financial goals. Jonathan and his wife Kathryn are active in their Wheaton community, supporting causes and projects that promote wellness and healthy living.
- Mary Beth McLean, Investment Committee (Elmhurst) devotes much of her time as lead financial advisor at Private Vista LLC to coaching women on complex financial matters. She helps her clients conceive their future, relieve their fears, and achieve their dreams. She and her husband, Hugh, support numerous charities, particularly in the areas of education and women’s advocacy.
- Victoria Morrissey, Marketing Committee (Burr Ridge) is a senior enterprise leader with more than 30 years of experience helping complex global organizations convert customer and brand strategy into measurable financial outcomes. As chief marketing officer of Ferguson, Victoria led enterprise marketing across a $30B+ value-added distributor. Her charitable interests center primarily on addressing food insecurity and helping women accelerate their career success.
- Tom Schnell, Investment Committee (Lisle) brings extensive financial, capital markets, and investment knowledge and experience, having worked for more than 32 years providing advice to large corporate & middle market clients on their banking and capital needs. Tom has lived in DuPage County since 1999 with his wife Julie. They have three adult married children and also recently became grandparents.
